ABOUT OUR LEATHER
We source full hides of USA-made leather, ethically derived as a by-product of the food industry. Our leather undergoes a natural, eco-friendly veg-tanning process, resulting in durable, exquisite leather renowned for its rich patina.
Please keep in mind that leather is an organic material that is unique and one-of-a-kind. The natural variations and imperfections contribute to its beauty and authenticity. We strive to use the best available, keeping any major visible characteristics minimized, however you may still see color variations and natural differences such as bug bites, dark area scratches, scars, specs, divots, processing marks, stretches and more.
We do not further process, dye or try to hide these flaws. We feel the natural characteristics in the leather are what makes it a beautiful, natural & unique gift.
