Photo Requirements for engraving on leather:
To ensure the best possible engraving results:
- Please provide a full-size, high-resolution digital file.
- If scanning an original printed photo, set your scanner to 300 dpi resolution.
Note: Your engraving will reflect the details of your photo in its natural form. Visible aging, wrinkles or imperfections will be etched as they appear. While we can remove some flaws upon request, not all imperfections can be eliminated. If you’re unsure whether your photo is suitable, feel free to contact us before ordering.
Size, Material, and Frame Details:
- Sizes available: 4×6, 5×7, 8×10 or 11×14 inches
- Framed pieces feature a modern dark brown frame with a 1 1/8” border (frame design may vary slightly based on availability)
- Frames do not include glass, allowing the leather to have air circulation
Personalized Text Approval Process:
- If adding text, we’ll send a black-and-white digital proof for approval before engraving.
- Text additions are limited to short, meaningful inscriptions such as names, dates, locations, or brief quotes.
- No approval process is necessary for photo-only engravings.
